HONOR ROLL

Each trimester students in grades 4 - 5 are selected according to academic achievement for recognition on one of three Wyco Honor Rolls. Wyco will be using the District Report Cards. Students in grades 4 - 5 will be graded using the following grading scale:
A = 100-90% (Excellent)
B = 89-80% (Good)
C = 79-70% (Average)
D = 69-60% (Poor, but Passing)
F = 59% or less (Failing)

The criteria for selection in regard to each of the Honor Rolls is as follows:

I. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Student must earn only A's & B's with more A's than B's. Student achievement must not reflect any N's or U's.

II. ACHIEVEMENT
Student must earn only A's & B's. Student achievement must not reflect any N's or U's.

III. IMPROVEMENT
Student must improve in one content area without going down in any other area. Student achievement must not reflect any D's, F's, N's & U's. (2nd & 3rd trimester)
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT GRADES EARNED IN MUSIC, ART & P.E. ARE INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE FORMULAS.
